We are excited to announce that we have been granted the status of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) by the Customs Agency. Recognized by the Union Customs Code and by major global economies such as the USA, China, Japan, Canada, Brazil, and the UK, this status certifies our reliability with customs authorities worldwide.
The process of securing this certification involved different company departments, with a thorough analysis and verification of the correctness of our import/export processes, ranging from quality control to accounting and finance, to ensure the highest level of reliability and security in our international supply chain.
Specifically, we have been granted both the authorization for customs simplifications (AEOC) and the one for security (AEOS), thereby achieving the AEOF status, or “full set“. This allows us to enjoy the benefits of both authorizations, including simplified customs procedures, reduced inspections, and complete digitalization of our interactions with Customs. Additionally, our collaboration with government agencies responsible for the control of imported and exported goods has been significantly enhanced.
With the AEOF status, we can now offer our customers even more efficient services, with faster customs procedures and a reduction in the guarantees required by the Customs Office.
To achieve this important goal, we received valuable legal support from UBFP law firm and full cooperation from the AEO Team at the Customs Office of Padua.
